There should be no impact as long as DNS has been changed correctly.
There might be some additional changes required to the environment however:
1 - Be sure also to make sure the IP address is included in an Active Directory site subnet entry.
2 - Do a /opt/quest/bin/vastool flush after the change as well in case it is in a new AD site.
3 - Check firewall rules if ip address or machine name is involved in any rule.
4 - If possible do this in test environment first.
The new IP address should be picked up in the Managment Console for Unix (MCU) if the host is Profiled again. If the MCU is running on Windows then running "ipconfig /flushdns" on the MCU server may be neccessary if the DNS cache on the server has not yet been updated with the new address.
