Configuration issue. In order to override users' primary group ids (GIDs), you must use an user-override file and not a group-override file.
Edit /etc/opt/quest/vas/user-override file and enter in the user or group you want to override and the gid to override to. The entry would be similiar to the /etc/passwd file format. There is more samples in the /etc/opt/quest/vas/user-override.sample file.
1 - Open Microsoft Group Policy Manager
2 - Navigate to Computer Configuration |Unix Settings |Authentication Services
4 - Click User Account Override
5- Click Add
6. Browse to group or user you want to apply the rule to
7. Enter in the GID number you want to override to.
