After migration of AIX users to AD, user is not able to log on -
Description
Migrating a local AIX user to AD can be done in multiple ways. Residual configuration information may be left in some of the files that reign the authentication behavior in the OS, preventing the VAS user to properly authenticate.

Resolution
Verify the following files for information on the users having issues:
1) /etc/passwd
2) /etc/group
3) /etc/security/user ( especially remove any registry entries for the users' stanza)
4) /etc/security/passwd
5) /etc/security/group
