Description
When installing or upgrading to Safeguard Authentication Services 5.0.3 NSCD is not automatically restarted.
If it is a new installation, this may impact authentications from working as expected. Please consult the specific Operating System instructions for restarting NSCD. This should resolve any resulting authentication issues.

Cause
Under certain conditions Safeguard Authentication Services 5.0.3 may not restart NSCD. -
Resolution
PRODUCT DEFECT: 289758
Any operating systems running NSCD such as Solaris and some distributions of Linux will require a restart of the NSCD daemon.
This issue was introduced in 5.0.3 and will be fixed in the next release.
Authentications will continue to be impacted until NSCD is restarted.
This has been resolved in version 5.0.4
