Description

Management Console for Unix error when profiling a host "Duplicate group accounts (xxx) were found on the system. Resolve conflicts and retry." or "Duplicate user accounts (xxx) were found on the system. Resolve conflicts and retry."
Cause

Currently MCU is not able to handle user or groups which are duplicates, this includes duplicate users or groups created with the vastool merge command.
Resolution

WORKAROUND

Removing the conflicting groups/users

Enhancement request CR26276 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Management Console for Unix.
