pam_acct_mgmt: error syslog message on AIX -
Description
On AIX in /var/log/messages you are seeing messages such as the following after installing QAS:
"auth|security:debug sshd: PAM: pam_acct_mgmt: error User password has expired"The password is not expired. This occurs for local and Unix enabled users.

Cause
The issue occurs when any non-AIX LAM module is referenced in /etc/methods.cfg
IBM has recognized this as an issue on their end and they are working on fix.

Resolution
None at the moment. The messages are harmless and do not affect auththentication.
