Title
Users are unable to log in on systems where vastool is used to remove large numbers of computer objects. -
Description
Vastool removal of computer objects in Active Directory causes a file descriptor leak. This was seen on a system that was removing hundreds of computer objects per day. -
Cause
Defect #598293 has been entered and the issue is fixed. The fix will be in the next maintenance release. The current maintenance where this issue was found is version 4.1.0.22393. -
Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Restart the vasd daemon
RESOLUTION 2:
Upgrade a version higher than 4.1.0.22393
