The following functionality for macOS platforms has been added, modified or removed. -
Description
The changes to macOS GPOs for Safeguard Authentication Services 5.0 include:
- Preference Manifests removed
- Profile Managers removed
- Preference Manifest settings removed
- Preference Manifest settings added
- Preference Manifest and Profile Manager settings fixed
- New Preference Manifests
This has been done to modernize the settings available to administer via GPO.

Dock Default Item List Modified default items to reflect current macOS Applications and their locations Network Bluetooth, Internet Sharing, Airport Disabled AirPort since it can never be re-enabled if it's disabled
Allowed the user to enable, disable, and not set bluetooth and internet sharing rather than just disabling it. Previously if it wasn't marked as disabled it was assumed to be enabled. Rather than assuming, allow the user to choose.
