User's crontab not loading on Solaris -
Description
Unix enabled users cannot get their crontab entries read when the system reboots.
Error message:
No such user as username - cron entries not created -
Cause
Solaris (cron) cannot find the user upon boot and can therefore not read the user's crontab file.
Defect: 447755 -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:
Restart the cron daemon after the system has booted.
E.g
svcadm restart cron
STATUS:
Issue fixed in Authentication Services version 4.1.0.21735 and above.
