This is caused by a corrupt installation of .NET framework SP1
RESOLUTION:
1 - Uninstall .NET 3.5 SP1
2 - Install a fresh .NET 3.5 SP1
TROUBLESHOOTING:
If the above does not resolve this issue please debug will need to be enable for further analysis:
1 - Open regedit
2 - Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Quest Software\Authentication Services]
3 - Add the following keys:
REG_DWORD "LogLevel" with a value of 5 (This gives us debug level 5) REG_EXPAND_SZ "LogFile" with a value of a path to the log file. If enabled through CC this would be: C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Quest Software\Authentication Services\Logs
Revert:
1. Change the registry REG_DWORD "LogLevel" to 0 which should stop the logging. You can also do the same using SAS control Center UI logging options.
