How to add QAS enabled users to Ubuntu login screen -
Description
When logging in to Ubuntu via the GUI there are no QAS users listed on the login screen.

Cause
In Ubuntu 14.04 LTS a feature needs to be enabled to allow users to login from the login screen.

Resolution
LightDM is the display manager running in Ubuntu. It starts the X servers, user sessions and greeter (login screen). The default greeter in Ubuntu is Unity Greeter.
- Create a file "lightdm.conf" inside "/etc/lightdm/" and put the following contents in it:
[SeatDefaults]
greeter-show-manual-login=true- Reboot the system
- Run a vastool flush
- Log out and QAS enabled users should be available on the login screen.
