ERROR: Failed to retrieve time from default server. (4280508)

The following error is reported when attempting to run get a snapshot of Authentication Services

ERROR: Failed to retrieve time from default server.
ERROR: VAS_ERR_FAILURE: Unspecified failure
Failed to get time from <domain>  Caused by:
SYSERR-17: File exists

Authentication Services is having problems clearing out Domain Controller's which it can’t connect to. (possibly after a Disaster Recovery test)

Run the following command

/opt/quest/bin/vastool flush statedir

followed by a rejoin

/opt/quest/bin/vastool -u <administrator> join -f <domain>

After that run the snapshot script

/opt/quest/libexec/vas/scripts/vas_snapshot.sh
