Description
When running the flush command the following error is being encountered:
# vastool flush
Caching Users ... OK Mapping mapped users ... OK
Processing user overrides ... OK
Caching Groups ... ERROR: Error receiving IPC buffer from server: Invalid argument
ERROR: Failed to send/recv Group Flush IPC request, payload_err=22 Failed
ERROR: Failed to send Groups Flush IPC, error=22
Successfully flushed negative cache -
Cause
The vas.conf file was configured to cache accounts from a second domain which there was no trust configuration with so QAS was attempting to query a DC from that domain and was failing. -
Resolution
Removing all references from this second domain from the vas.conf file resolved the issue. -
