After upgrading vasclnt the following error is occuring:
#service vasypd start
/opt/quest/sbin/vasypd: symbol lookup error: /opt/quest/sbin/vasypd: undefined symbol: vascache_init
Starting vasypd: /opt/quest/sbin/vasypd: symbol lookup error: /opt/quest/sbin/vasypd: undefined symbol: vascache_init
[FAILED]
Additionally vas status reports the following error:

Domain: <xxxxx>
CRITICAL: 111 /opt/quest/sbin/vasypd -v failed, OUTPUT: </opt/quest/sbin/vasypd: symbol lookup error: /opt/quest/sbin/vasypd: undefined symbol: vascache_init >
Result: <Critical test(s) failed> (1 seconds)
The following RPMs are currently installed:
vasyp-3.5.2-12.x86_64
vasclnt-3.5.2-89.x86_64
vasgp-3.5.2-89.x86_64
The vasyp package is optional and so it was not updated automatically with the other packages. The version mismatch between the vasyp pacakge and other packages resulted in the errors that are seen.
The install script can be used to upgrade vasyp with the following command:
./install.sh vasyp
