The vastool flush error and not caching users:

/opt/quest/bin/vastool flush error and server slow:

Cause
The err 110 means that the process timed before the data was received.
CAUSE 1: The domain that contained the users had a one way trust with the domain that the machine was joined to.
CAUSE 2: Slow DNS

Resolution
RESOLUTION 1:
Needed to follow the instructions in KB65747 and configure the system for one way trust.
RESOLUTION 2:
Please run an ldap ping against the DC's returned by "vastool info servers" command:#/opt/quest/bin/vastool info cldap <dc>.<domain>A healthy response time:Query Response Time: 0.0028 secondsAnything over a second is pretty slow.Check your /etc/resolv.conf and ensure it is setup properly.Check your DNS servers are healthy.
