Some users find the /opt/quest/libexec/vas/get_domain_reachable utility to be useful for system administrators to quickly determine if their environment is ready to install QAS on. The command requires a full QAS install on the sytems however so that the required libraries are avilable for it to run. A statically linked version of this utility could be useful for doing this test without a full QAS install.
Resolution
A statically linked version of this command is not currently available. Enhancement Request #28218 has been submitted to have this option made available.
