Description
The following error was seen while attempting to join a system to a domain:
Caching Users... ERROR: User Flush IPC failed, server error=5-This operation cannot be performed when vasd is in a disconnected state (UserFlushHandler).

Cause
The system seeing this error was found to have a problem with its resolv.conf file

Resolution
Updating the resolv.conf file with the correct DNS severs resolved the issue.
