When trying to access Identity Manager for Unix (IMU) webconsole the following error is received:
"The username or password is incorrect. Please try again."
Your account is not on the Console Access List
Add AD Accounts to Console Access List
In order to use the Active Directory features of the web console, users must log on using an Active Directory accountthat has been added to the console access list. Using theSystem settingsoption underPreferencesyou can definewho (i.e., individual users or members of Active Directory groups) is to have full access to the web console.
1.Log on to the web console using the console supervisor account.
2.SelectPreferences | System settings.
3.On the Active Directory dialog, selectActive Directory | User Accessin the left-hand pane to display a list of theActive Directory accounts that have been granted access to the console and all its features.
4.To add an individual user, selectAdd | AD Users. On the Select AD User dialog, search Active Directory to locateand select one or more users. Once you have made your selections, selectOKto close the dialog.
5.To add a group, selectAdd | AD Groups. On the Select AD Group dialog, search Active Directory to locate andselect one or more Active Directory groups. Once you have made your selections, selectOKto close the dialog.
Note:To remove a user or group account from this list, select the account(s) to be removed andselectRemove.
6.Back on the System Settings dialog, the selected account(s) will be added to the access list. SelectOKto saveyour selections and close the dialog.
