Description
Post-install of SAS version 5.1.2 running "vastool status" displays:
INFO: 628 authselect check of setup: <AuthenticationServices> failed: <Current configuration is not valid. It was probably modified outside authselect.> -
Cause
This is caused by removing a previous version of SAS with "rpm -e" without first unjoining the system from the domain and then upgrading to version 5.1.2.

Resolution
This error has no impact on product functionality.
The error can be cleared by running the following command.
"authselect select AuthenticationServices -force"
The error can be avoided by first unjoining SAS from the domain prior to running "rpm -e".
If "rpm -e" has been run without first unjoining the error can also be avoided by running "authselect select minimal -force" post uninstall and prior to installing 5.1.2. -
