Unable to load GSS-API DLL - SSO for SAP (4377339)

When installing SAP GUI 800 on a system installed with QAS SSO for SAP shows the following error on 64bit Operating Systems:

Unable to load GSS-API DLL named "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\SSO for SAP\qgsskrb5.dll"

This occurred because previous versions of the GUI were only available for 32-bit systems. Consequently, the SNC_LIB variable was automatically set to point to C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\SSO for SAP\qgsskrb5.dll to simulate a 32-bit application running on a 64-bit operating system.

Now that the SAP GUI has a 64-bit version, it's searching for a native 64-bit DLL. Therefore, it doesn't recognize qgsskrb5.dll as a valid DLL.

To resolve this issue, since the installation is 64-bit, you need to use qgsskrb5x64.dll instead of qgsskrb5.dll. Both are located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\SSO for SAP directory.

For 64-bit installations, the SNC_LIB variable must point to qgsskrb5x64.dll.

To make this change:

1. On the Windows system where SAP is installed, open the System Properties window and click "Environment Variables."
2. From the list of variables, select "SNC_LIB" and click "Edit."
3. In the variable value field, ensure it points to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\SSO for SA\qgsskrb5x64.dll."
4. After making the change, restart the SAP GUI to ensure that the new environment variable is applied.
