VAS Shows No License When Using GPO License Only After Upgrade to 7.0 (4383314)

Upgrading from SAS 6.0.x to 7.0 may observe:

No license files present under:
/etc/opt/quest/vas/.licenses

vastool status reports:
FAILURE: SAS does not have any valid licenses available

The license is deployed via GPO, but not applied after the upgrade

This issue is identified as product defect:
706310 – When license deployment is only configured in GPO, upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 does not retrieve new license.
The upgrade process does not automatically apply the license from Group Policy.

Workarounds: Install the license in SAS Control Center and then perform the upgrade to 7.0

This product defect will be fixed in a future version of SAS.
