2 - Ensure the /Library/Preferences/edu.mit.Kerberos file is setup properly
1 - /usr/bin/klist
A) Is there a TGT and a service ticket for the host? If so, there was a difficulty in acquiring the service ticket for the remote server.
B) Is the TGT and host’s service ticket missing?
If so then typically (99.99% of the time) the user logged in with disconnected authentication at which point it’s a standard disconnected authentication attempt troubleshooting.
The other .01% of the time is because the CCache server isn’t running which can sometimes be caused by UIDs < 1000 on a Mac. Quest has never recommended UIDs less than 1000 and always encourages that they are >= 1000. If this is the case, then increase the UID and retry.
