Slow login times with disconnected authentication.
Quest Authentication Services (QAS) is trying to make sure things (i.e., network connections) are down before going full offline authentication. The authentication that happens at that time will be much slower.
Once vasd is down (noticed it can't talk to Active Directory, and is in disconnected mode ), then authentications should be fast.
Once vasd client is unable to contact Active Directory (AD) (everything it does times out), it will stop trying, and either stop or go into disconnected mode. While in that state there is no IPC file, so everything will drop to disconnected mode very quickly.
vastool configure vas libvas vascache-ipc-timeout 1
