System logs are showing errors such as these:
vasd: [ID 490986 daemon.error] update override process failed with err = 16
vasd: [ID 490986 daemon.error] update override process failed with err = 5
This is the process that updates updates the cache with the override information contained in the user and group override files. This process can fail if it waits too long obtaining write access to the VAS cache. Vasd actually runs this process every 30 seconds, so unless you are seeing this fail very regularly this message can be safely ignored.
If this is occurring excessively and is a regular occurrence there could be an issue with the cache files themselves.
