After a vastool flush the shell for an authorized user changes to /bin/false and gets a connection closed message. When the user tries to login they get a "Connection closed", they need to login a second time to gain access.
In the syslog I have seen the following messages:
Jul 20 08:52:07 user 1112 vasd[26306]: SendOnDedicatedSocket: Failed to receive childsts ack, rc=110
Jul 20 08:52:07 user 1112 vasd[26305]: SendOnDedicatedSocket: Failed to receive childsts ack, rc=110
Jul 20 08:52:09 user 1112 vasd[26306]: SendOnDedicatedSocket: Failed to receive childsts ack, rc=110
Product Defect: 24530 The vastool flush completely broken the authentication. Fixed in QAS 4.0.2.305
