Unable to unix enable groups through Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC) (4251713)

In 4.0.3.94 to 4.0.3.112 after Unix-Enabling AD groups (or un- unix enabling) and clicking apply the change is reverted. The problem also effects the powershell cmdlets.

STATUS:

Issue fixed in 4.0.3.123 and up. 

WORKAROUND

1. Set the GID for this group by setting in the  Manangement Console for Unix and changing the GID from there

2. To unix enable groups from the Unix side you can run a setattrs command. This assumes you are using gidNumber as the schema attribute for Group ID

# /opt/quest/bin/vastool -u administrator setattrs -g groupname gidNumber 2000
