HTTP Failure Response when saving change to Registered Connector in SPP 8.2.2 (4382772)

Overview

In Safeguard for Privileged Passwords 8.2.2 there is a known issue when updating a Registered Connector which results in an error banner with the following text:

Http failure response for https://<ApplianceIP>/service/core/v4/Starling/RegisteredConnectors?count=true: 503 Service Unavailable.

This error only occurs if the Registered Connector and associated asset were created on SPP 8.2.1. When this happens, the Sync Deletions every value on the asset is null. Connectors and Assets created prior to 8.2.1 are not affected.

This causes a failure within the Core service and displays the banner error when you update the associated registered connector.  

STATUS

Change Request # 703480 will address this issue in a future release of SPP.

WORKAROUND:

You can work around the issue by ensuring that the Sync deletions every field has a value (the default is 1440). Save the changes, and then update the registered connector if required.
