Client license type drops after logon and elevated permissions, license type changes from SUDOP to N/A
Error: Failed to run command with sudo: pmmasterd7.1.0.3:9071 Your license does not permit this type of client connection: SUDOPOLICY
Running /opt/quest/sbin/pmpluginloadcheck sets the licence type back to SUDOP however the issue can reoccur. -
Cause
Product defect ID 295769. -
Resolution
Temp workaround:
Run the following command on the client to set the license type back to SUDOP:
/opt/quest/sbin/pmpluginloadcheck -h Primary_Policy_ServerReplace Primary_Policy_Server with the name of the Primary Policy server.
STATUS:
Issue fixed in version 7.2.0.2.
