Description
Running ./pmpolicyplugin -g results in the following:
** ERROR: Failed to export production copy (failed syntax check)
The following is seen in pmloadcheck.log:
Production policy check out failed (failed syntax check)

Cause
This could be caused by MCU (Management Console for Unix) not putting a newline character (\n) on the end of the last line of the sudoers file when editing the sudoers policy from there. -
Resolution
Ensure that there is a new line at the end of the policy in MCU.

Additional Information
The Unix command "od -c" can be used to check for a newline character (\n) in the policy. For example the following "od -c" output shows that there isn't a new line character after the comment in the last line of the policy which causes the error: 0020460 \n \n # \n # i n c l u d e d i r 0020500 / e t c / s u d o e r s . d \n # 0020520
