QPM for Sudo "unable to dlopen /opt/quest/libexec/qpm4u_plugin.so Segmentation Fault" on Solaris -
Description
The following error message appears when running a sudo command on Solaris with Quest Privilege Manager for Sudo installed:
unable to dlopen /opt/quest/libexec/qpm4u_plugin.so Segmentation Fault -
Cause
This is due to the version of Sudo that is installed on the Solaris system.
The error has been observed when running either TCM Sudo or SMC Sudo over version 1.8.4 -
Resolution
The next release of Quest Privilege Manager for Sudo will contain a fix for this issue under defect #0004937.
WORKAROUND:
Downgrade to TCMSudo version 1.8.3. -
