Sudo -S is not accepting password from stdin after upgrading Safeguard for Sudo to version 7.2
A script that uses sudo -S and obtains the password from stdin stops working after upgrading the plugin client to version 7.2.
For example the following will fail:
-------------------
$ echo mypasswd | sudo -S /bin/ls
sudo: a password is required
Error(s) in config file. Contact your local system administrator.
Request rejected by Safeguard

STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Safeguard for Sudo.
WORKAROUND:
Downgrade both the qpm-plugin package and qpm-server to pre-7.2 (e.g. 7.1.1.0).
Rejoin the plugin client.
Note that both the plugin client and policy server need to be on version 7.1.1.
The issue will still exist if only the plugin client is downgraded.
