Safeguard for Sudo 7.5 Plugin Hosts Not Auto-Syncing Policy (4383219)

After upgrading to Safeguard for Sudo 7.5 (7.5.0.8), sudo plugin hosts do not automatically sync updated policies from the policy server.

1. Cached policy remains outdated
2. Automatic sync no longer occurs
3. Manual sync works using: /opt/quest/sbin/pmpolicyplugin -g

This is a confirmed product defect affecting automated policy updates in version 7.5.

Workaround:
Use one of the following:

-Downgrade to version 7.3 or 7.4

-Manual/Scheduled policy sync

• Configure a cron job or configuration management task:
  /opt/quest/sbin/pmpolicyplugin -g

Status: Issue has been fixed with the release of 7.5.1 SFS.
