After upgrade Reporting service won't start -
Description
After upgrade to most recent version, the ScriptLogic Reporting Service won't start. It returns an error 2: The system cannot find the file specified. -
Cause
The "Path to executable" in original service in previous versions is C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Privilege Manager\Console\Data Collection Service\PADataCollectionWinSvc.exe,
when Privilege Manager is upgraded the software location changes to C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\Privilege Manager\ however the "Path to executable" remains the same as previous version.
On service attempts to start this error is received:
Making the application unable to connect to database instance and save data collection information.

Resolution
To solve this issue the service path to executable must be fixed, to do that:
1) Open a Command Window with administrator rights.
2) Execute command sc config "ScriptLogic PA Reporting Svc" binPath= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest\Privilege Manager\Console\Data Collection Service\PADataCollectionWinSvc.exe" (NOTE: The space after binPath is very important).
3) Start the PA Reporting Service.
The service is running and the reporting database can now be configured on new or existing server.
