How to blacklist an application -
Description
Blacklist rules are a new feature introduced in Privilege Manager for Windows 4.0. Blacklist rules deny user access to an application, regardless of what their default domain user permissions allow. -
Resolution
Use the Create Rule Wizard to configure a blacklist rule:
- Select the Blacklist Rules tab.
- Click on the New Rule Button to open the Create Rule Wizard.
- Specify the data request in each tab and click Next.
- Click on Finish to apply the rule. If you have not specified the required data, the wizard will notify you.
- Click the Save button on the menu bar of the Rule Section.\
Note: Blacklist has precedence over Instant Elevation.
