Description
When using an encrypted database and trying to click on the target system menu within the synchronization editor for a SCIM/Starling synchronization project the following error is displayed in the synchronization editor after attempting to enter the client secret:
The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.SystemConnector {"error":"unauthorized_client","error_description":"Unexpected error when authenticating client: java.io.IOException: Bad Base64 input character decimal 45 in array position 8"} -
Cause
The client secret needs to be in Base64 format -
Resolution
Ensure to convert the client secret to Base64 format before entering the text in the field.
