The Syslog-ng Agent for Windows can collect from both Windows event sources and file sources simultaneously without issues.

Please consult the latest Syslog-ng Agent for Windows administrative guide for configuring both sources. Upon successful setup of both source, the Syslog-ng Agent for Windows will collect from both sources simultaneously and send them to the destination specified.
