Syslog-ng Agent for Windows - TID Already in Use -
Description
When using RLTP/ALTP for log transport with version 6.0.x of the Syslog-ng Agent for Windows, the following error occurs:
Server close the connection; status_code='510', error='TID is already used\x0a' -
Cause
This is a known defect. There was a change in how RLTP/ALTP was handled in Version 7 of Syslog-ng PE that has caused compatibility issues with version 6 of Syslog-ng. When using version 6.0.x of the Syslog-ng Agent for Windows to send to a version 7 Syslog-ng PE host, or version 6 Syslog-ng Store Box (SSB), having set RLTP/ALTP as the transport, the error "TID Already in Use" will appear due to this incompatibility.

Resolution:
At this time there is no resolution for this issue.
Workaround:Please disable using RLTP/ALTP at this time. When using the Syslog-ng Agent for Windows, only TCP and TLS should be selected.
