Description
After upgrading syslog-ng, the following warning may be shown on the system logs as well as in the output of "systemctl status syslog-ng"

Cause
This WARNING message is about the plugin.conf file located in the wec directory.
The plugin.conf file includes the following line:
unix-dgram("`unix_domain_socket`" flags(no-parse) pass_unix_credentials(no) `__VARARGS__`);

Resolution
The message is only a deprecation warning, and it does not mean that something is not working correctly.It will function just the same as it did before.The WEC SCL file will be corrected in an upcoming version.If the message is a concern, you can replace pass-unix-credentials(no) with the so-passcred(no) option in the WEC SCL file. -
