No, Syslog-ng Store Box (SSB) archives and backups are 1:1 copies of what is on the Syslog-ng Store Box (SSB) itself.
If a logstore is 2.8gb in size, the backup/archive will be 2.8gb in size.
Please plan accordingly when creating backup/archive shares to be used with the Syslog-ng Store Box (SSB).
