Is it possible to add an additional HDD to an existent Syslog-NG SSB VM (running on Hyper-V) and use the new disk space for logspaces/buffers/message throttling?
Will Syslog-NG SSB detect the new disk and make it available for use?

Resolution
No, adding another disk to the VM will not resolve an HDD capacity issue as the SSB will not recognize it.
The best way forward is to archive the logs to an external storage.
This way the logs will be moved to the external storage and not be on the SSB, but the SSB will still have access to the logs. -
