Internal locking error - Lock is not acquired (4267213)

The following errors are reported in the SSB system logs

"Internal locking error - Lock is not acquired; lock='logstats', holder='SYSTEM@xcb'"

"PHP Fatal error:  Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in /opt/ssb/lib/LockFile.php"

The logstats-cleanup.php is unable to acquire the logstats lock, because sometime earlier a timeout expired on logstats.php, and the lock was left in place.

Workaround:

In a cluster the locks are cleared as a side-effect of the startup of the core firmware on the other node. So to failover to other node and clear the locks navigate to

SSB > Basic Settings > High Availability

And click on the Activate Slave button.

If the problem re-occurs then failing back to the original node will also resolve the problem.

For a standalone node the error may be cleared with a reboot, however the error may reoccur after a period of time.

A permanent fix will be implemented in a future release.
