SSB has a Hostname limit in the license and the hostnames aren't listed by the SSB GUI.

The following command (if run from core-shell) should give the host list using the license:
/opt/syslog-ng/sbin/syslog-ng-ctl show-license-info
The above command will give the list and able to verify each hostname is to be valid data.
NOTE: SSB source option "Hostname and timestamp-related settings:" -> "Trusted:" -> "Yes" will take hostname out of messages. Also, the Legacy source will take anything given on the host field as a hostname. So it is crucial to make sure the received messages are in the expected format.
