Description
A memory leak has been discovered in version 7.8.0 of Syslog-ng Store Box (SSB).
The memory leak can be aggressive, leading to memory exhaustion and requiring a service restart.

Resolution
Product Defect ID 725446 has been raised to track and resolve this issue.
Customers are advised to refrain from installing this version in critical or production environments.
If 7.8.0 is in use and the issue is seen, customers are advised to restore to 7.7.0 if possible.
If unable to restore to 7.7.0, then the SSB should be reinstalled with version 7.7.0.
