SSB sends malformed SNMP traps when Email is disabled for an alert -
Description
When an alert is configured for SNMP and Email is turned off under Basic Settings > Alerting, SSB emits an invalid SNMP trap that omits sysUpTime.0 e.g (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0) and starts with snmpTrapOID.0 (1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0).
With Email enabled for the same alert, the trap is valid. The documentation describes Email and SNMP as independently selectable channels (“Email and/or SNMP”), so SNMP validity should not depend on the Email setting.

Cause
Expected: SSB should send valid SNMP traps regardless of whether Email is enabled for the alert.
Actual: With Email OFF, the trap is malformed and rejected by the receiver. With Email ON, the trap is valid.
This has been identified as defect 725264.

Resolution
Our product team is active working on providing a fix for this issue.
Possible Workaround:
An SSB reboot after configuring v3 SNMP Traps and disabling the email alerts removes this issue.
