4 Switching Users Without Logging Off Windows (Fast User Switching)

When the user logs on to the workstation, all the running applications are closed and SSOWatch module of Quest ESSO restarts with the user SSO configuration.

5 Displaying Session Information (Windows XP/2003 only)

The authenticated Quest ESSO user.
The date and time the Quest ESSO session is opened.
Password Authentication
The following illustration is an example of a Quest ESSO Session Information window that appears when authenticating with a password through Active Directory: the Quest ESSO and Windows accounts correspond to the same user, and you can change your password.
The following illustration is an example of a Quest ESSO Session Information window that appears when authenticating with a smart card through Active Directory: the Quest ESSO and Windows accounts again correspond to the same user, and you can change your PIN.
The following illustration is an example of a Quest ESSO Session Information window that appears when authenticating with your finger(s) through Active Directory: the Quest ESSO and Windows accounts correspond to the same user, and the Change your password button is disabled.
The Windows account used to log on to the workstation and the Quest ESSO account used to start SSOWatch module of Quest ESSO are different.

6 Shutting Down Your Workstation (Windows XP/2003 only)

The Advanced Login shutdown functionality is the same as with classical Windows sessions. It allows you to:

Click the Shutdown button
