15.3.1 Running a Process Using Your Smart Card

Press the Windows+R keys.
The Execute window appears.

Click on the OK button.
The Command Prompt window appears.

Enter the following command line and press the ENTER key: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\QESSO Client\AMRunAS <Command Line>

Enter your PIN and press the ENTER key.
The AMRunAS command line is derived from the RunAS Windows command line. You can display all the different command lines and their description by entering the following command line:

15.3.2 Running a Process Using Your OTP

Press the Windows+R keys.
The Execute window appears.

Click on the OK button.
The Command Prompt window appears.

Enter the following command line and press the ENTER key: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\QESSO Client\AMRunAS.exe /OTP /USER:DomainName\UserName <Command Line>

Enter your OTP and press the ENTER key.

15.3.3 Restarting and Running SSOWatch with Your own Credentials

If the administrator needs to use SSOWatch module of Quest ESSO or any other application, it must be installed on the user’s workstation.
1.
Press the Windows+R keys.
The Execute window appears.
2.
Enter cmd in the Open field.
3.
Click on the OK button.
The Command Prompt window appears.
4.
Enter the following command and press the ENTER key: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\QESSO Client\AMRunAS.exe /SSO <Command Line>
SSOWatch module of Quest ESSO restarts with your credentials.

Appendix A: Advanced Login Registry Keys

This section describes the Advanced Login configuration settings stored in the Windows registry that you can modify.
Some registry keys are only used by Quest ESSO clients, others are reserved for Quest ESSO Controllers, and others are available either on clients or controllers. Depending on the computer where registry keys are changed, the scope of the update is different:
If you update the configuration of a Quest ESSO client, the scope is limited to the Quest ESSO client itself.
If you update the configuration of a Quest ESSO Controller, the scope is extended to all the Quest ESSO clients connected to this controller.
