2.3.1 Initializing the Self Service Password Request Feature

When the SSPR feature is enabled, you can define your questions (optional) and answers the first time that your Advanced Login is activated. Then you may need to modify this data in the following cases:
You can initialize the SSPR using the Self Service Admin portal (see Self Service Admin Portal User Guide) or through the Advanced Login icon as detailed in the following procedure.

Right-click the Advanced Login icon located in the notification area, and select Manage Security Questions.

2.3.2 Resetting Your Password Upon Session Opening

You can reset your password by using the Self Service Admin portal (see Self Service Admin User Guide) or upon session opening as detailed in the following procedure.
Advanced Login is installed on the workstation.
On Windows XP/2003: in the Advanced Login window, check or enter your user name and click the SOS button.
On Windows 7/2008: in the authentication screen, click the Password forgotten tile, then check or enter your user name and click the arrow button (if the session is locked and that the unlocking by another user is forbidden, you cannot change the user name).
If the answers are correct and that the configuration in the Quest ESSO Console does not require entering a new password, the session opens.
On Windows 7/2008, click Help me to choose a valid password to check that your new password is in accordance with the Password Format Control Policy:

2.3.3 Resetting Your PIN

Advanced Login is installed on the workstation.
On Windows XP/2003: insert your smart card and in the Advanced Login window, click the SOS button.
On Windows 7/2008: insert your smart card and in the authentication screen, click I have forgotten my PIN.
