2.1.1.1 Starting Quest ESSO Console in Hardware Protection Mode

To start Quest ESSO Console in hardware protection mode, make sure you have the Security Module or an administration smart card.

In the Windows Start menu, click
Programs | Quest Software | Enterprise SSO | QESSO Console.
The Quest ESSO Console authentication window appears.

2.1.1.2 Starting Quest ESSO Console in Software Protection Mode

If you start Quest ESSO Console in software protection mode for the first time, you must be a primary administrator.

In the Windows Start menu, click
Programs | Quest Software | Enterprise SSO | QESSO Console.
The Quest ESSO Console authentication window appears.
