To retrieve event codes, execute the Quest ESSO Errors program (ESSOERRORS.exe) to list the audit event encountered (For more information, see Appendix B. "Listing Audit Events and Error Codes").

16 Managing Reports

The Reporting module allows you to display and export the following information:

•	The list of accounts associated with a list of applications.

•	The list of accounts associated with a list of users.

•	The list of administrators located in your administered organization(s) and their corresponding administration profile(s).

•	Pre-defined reports.

The generation of a report can require several minutes to complete, depending on the selected time period, the type of requested report and the administrator’s rights.

16.1.1 Generating Application Account Reports

This section explains how to display accounts associated with one or more application(s).

Before Starting

To perform the task described in this section, your role must contain the following rights:

•	In classic administration mode: "Auditor" and you must be manager of the applications you want to report.

•	In advanced administration mode, your role must contain the following rights: "Audit: Visualization" and you must be manager of the applications you want to report or possess the "Application: Manage all applications" right.

For more information on administration roles, see Section 4., "Managing Administrators".

1.	In the Reporting panel, select the Application accounts tab.

2.	In the Report values area, use the Add and Remove buttons to select the applications for which you want to see associated accounts.

Use the Browse tab to browse the directory tree structure or use the Search tab to find the applications according to their name.

The selected applications appear in the field.

4.	In the filter list, select the filter you want to apply to the accounts associated with the selected applications:

•	Display all accounts without access

For each selected application, the report shows all accounts that have been collected from users for the application, but that are not associated with the application anymore.

•	Display all unregistered accounts

For each selected application, the report shows all users that are authorized to access the application, and that have not registered their account for these applications (the account is not collected).

•	Display all registered accounts

For each selected application, the report shows all users that are authorized to access the application, and that have registered their account for this application (the account is collected).

•	Display all accounts

For each selected application, the report shows all users that are authorized to access the application (unregistered and registered accounts).

5.	Click Generate

The list of accounts filtered for the selected applications appears in the table, as shown in the following example window.
