4.5 Testing the SSO Configuration

As you have just made configurations in Quest ESSO Console, you must reset the configuration to take into account recent modifications of the Enterprise SSO configuration: in the notification area, right-click the QESSO SSOWatch icon  and click Reset Configuration.

Launch E-SSO demo tool and click Display a login screen.
The Quest Enterprise SSO security data collect window appears.

Launch E-SSO demo tool and click Display a login screen.
Quest Enterprise SSO now automatically fills in the fields, which opens the application.

4.6 Administering Accounts

4.6.1 Displaying Account Reports

Once the application account has been collected by the user (see 4.5 Testing the SSO Configuration), the administrator can display account collection reports in Quest ESSO Console, as explained in the following procedure.
1.
Start Quest ESSO Console, as explained in 4.3.1 Starting the Quest ESSO Console.

In the Quest ESSO directory panel, click the Demo App application (located in Quest ESSO\Application access\Applications) and click the Accounts tab.

In the Filter list, select Display all registered accounts and click Apply.
The tab shows that the Quest ESSO user is authorized to access the selected Application, and that he/she has registered his/her Account for this application (the Account is collected).

From Quest ESSO Console, browse the corporate directory to the primary administrator user and click the Accounts tab.
The Accounts tab appears and displays the application (Demo App) to which the selected user has registered an account.

4.6.2 Displaying Application Audit Events

In Quest ESSO Console, in the directory panel, click the Demo App application (located in Quest ESSO\Application access \Applications) and click the Events tab.

Verify the dates in the Filter area and click Apply.
